I know most of us on these boards have an aversion to the TD but I find myself in an unfortunate position of needing to rely on them. Has anyone ever tried to use their "archives"? I need to write a term paper for grad school in which I need access to articles from around 2002. Does any one know of a way to access these articles without forking out the $150 or whatever they charge for yearly access? I can't seem to find anything on Google Scholar or Lexis-Nexis. Thought some one on here might have the answer.

I wonder if the big Richmond library on Main archives them.

Cabell Library had them on film back to the 1800s. Surely they must have 2002.

I appreciate the input guys, but I'm not currently in Richmond so I'm going to have to figure out another route. Anybody else have any other ideas?

Are you close to RVA? It is the "State newspaper" so they say. Maybe surrounding cities and counties have them too.
