I just noticed today that Macon just lost their HC to Bucknell. I cant remember if this has ever happened, if so its got to be very rare. DIII to DI in the past just didnt happen.

This guy, Nathan Davis, will be a rising star soon. His Bucknell squad has its top six scorers coming back, and they have some size and youth. In fact, they have a 6'9 rising soph who was 2nd leading scorer and leading rebounder. This from a team that had the best regular season record in their league.

Macon does it again, Maybe its the colors.

I posted this a few weeks ago:

"Randolph Macon finds some great coaches. I suspect we will see some big things from their current coach, Nathan Davis. They dominated the ODAC and I believe they finished in the top 10 of D III schools."

Not only is Coach Davis a very good coach and recruits above the schools "bar" he's a good guy. It seems that kids love to play very hard for him.

To the list of Rhoades, Marshall and Davis, add Shawn Finney (Tulane) and Jeff Reynolds (Air Force) as products of the Hal Nunnally system in Ashland.
