Ugly, seating capacity and appearance on par with Hermitage High School.

A college team is going to play there?

Most Fairfax County High Schools built after 1990 are on par with that one.

Shoot, even the butterflies play here:

Not trying to defend UR, but most Fairfax County High School's have larger enrollments then they do!

For a university that has only 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students, they have a nice football arena. It certainly beats VCU's football stadium! ;)

Like ram4life said, for a school with 4,000 students its a pretty nice stadium. The only thing that makes me laugh is that their AD challenges anybody to find nicer stadiums in the country at the FCS level...um...

ODU? (that choice might be a little bit biased) Montana? Appy State? Texas State?

Liberty is going to be pretty nice when their renovations will be completed as well as JMU. JMU's stadium will be BY FAR the nicest FCS facility in the country.

Also, I'm not in support for UR even though I think their facility is pretty decent but I suggest looking at the before and after pictures of that field.

There are certainly some that are bigger, but maybe not nicer. Lots of nice brick 'round that field and it fits in nicely with the architecture of the campus.

As far as ODU's stadium, I don't like the stands - - the half-moon shape. I suppose the rest of it is OK...I mean, other than the cheesy blue lion and ugly cheerleaders occupying the grounds.

I go to every Hermitage football game. One of us must be going to the wrong facility. There is no comparison between the two venues except they both have playing fields. And where did you get your data about seating capacity? I also go to every UofR football game and the new facility is no comparison to the old facility. Except for parking, good job UofR.
