Bradford Burgess kind of shrugs off his penchant for making big shots late in games for VCU.
"It just comes with the confidence that all our guys play with," he said. "If it's an open shot, everybody on the team has confidence that the guy is going to knock the shot down."
The 6-6 junior, though, has delivered several times for the Rams throughout his career.
As a freshman, he made key 3-pointers late in victories against Richmond and James Madison. He had another one Saturday against William and Mary, nailing a 3-pointer with 1:21 left that broke a tie in the Rams' 59-55 Colonial Athletic Association opener.
