Nice RTD article about KP. Too bad they didn't borrow Rambunctious' avatar for the photo.

On the sideline Tuesday, as he was absorbed in the action and three or four things were racing through his mind, Shaka Smart heard one of Virginia Commonwealth's players lobbying for a substitution.

"Hey," the player said, "let's get Kirill back in there."

Yea, this is all true.

K.P. is a real tough son of a gun in the post. One of the great things about his game is that he always seems to play within his abilities.

We don't have to worry about K.P. jacking up threes!

KP will get good minutes today I think. Although I agree he fits some situations better (when we play physical teams) I also think he is a steadying influence for our team, regardless of the team we are playing. Things might slow down when he is in, but we seem to be better when he plays a lot.

It's funny that the players and the fans all knew what KP was capable of before the coach did.

Didn't Coach say that KP stepped it up in practice recently, though? Could it be that he simply hadn't impressed him in practice before that?

The fans and players knew KP's play from years past -- Coach didn't. Can't blame him if he hadn't seen what KP was capable of in practice until recently.

All just conjecture, haven't spoke to Coach about the issue, obviously.

When you take over a program, I'm sure you watch every piece of film available on the players you're getting. At least I would hope so.

I understand what you're saying, and of course I agree. I just mean that apparently KP has recently stepped it up in practice, and from that it's not too absurd of a conjecture to say that perhaps he was under-performing in practice before that. Can't blame Coach for not playing him if he wasn't showing it in practice.

Hey KP has nice range from 12-15. I have no scattergraph of his poops but it seems to me he takes only a few when he is wide open...and makes many of them.

Holy heck...this is one of the funniest auto censorships ever on RamNation. Ummm..."poops" above was supposed to be "shots".

Hopefully no one is tracking KP's poops. If so, I nominate you the most obsessed Ram Fan ever!

I think you might have made a typo on "shots" which lead to "poops". If he can't sink a poop from 12 feet I want him on my team. He is good at shot selection though. He understands that a made 12 footer on one possession doesn't mean that you should take it again the next time down the court. He has really developed as a shooter since arriving at VCU, free throws in particular.

Rule 34 may apply here

I don't know what is worse...that typo or the fact that I quickly looked at this quote and wondered what evidence production rules had to do with this thread.
