RTD: VCU wreaks special brand of havoc on UNCW

UNCW was coming off a 66-64 loss to Richmond. The Seahawks prepared for VCU's press by practicing 5 on 6. It didn't help as they absorbed their second-worst CAA loss. They fell by 41 to George Mason last year.

"We prepared. We just didn't go out and execute," UNCW coach Benny Moss said. "We looked timid. I don't know who that team was that went out there."

The Rams have had big leads in several games this season and lost some of them. That was never a thought yesterday as the margin grew to 46 in the second half.
