He walked into a hornet’s nest.

I surmise that initially a few high level donors, like Mr. Siegel, are going to help us deliver on this.sitll wonder what the VCU plan is that Eddie says will generate 4-5 million annually ?
HahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahahhahahaOUCH. It wasn't long ago that the minimum donation level there was $100.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahahhahaha
This is nuts. Looks like it is gonna cost $25k + $3.5k yearly for lower sideline season tickets. People are taking out balloon payment loans to watch UVA play Frostburg State in November. How are they going to enforce the "payable over five years" bit? You're signing a contract? If you die, are they coming after your estate?
Unless Duke and UNC games are going for $10k on the open market, I don't see a way for season ticket holders to get any money back.
Yup. People complain about VCU tickets being expensive, you're looking at around $150 per game at minimum for the next 5 years to sit in the JPJ nosebleeds.Wow - those prices are nuts. Crazy to think that there are that many people who can spend that kind of money on basketball tickets but there it is.
My thing is tho how much of a Marquee, UVA vs Duke/UNC is solely depends on how good UVA is in this situation. And if UVA is bad, who is gonna wanna over pay as you sell those extra tickets of yours to the UNC/Duke games? I'm not paying $10k to go see UVA play Duke.... especially if I know UVA has no chance in he11 of winning or keeping it close.Hahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahahhahaha

yeah thats a HARD PASS for me. Glad I'm not a UVA fanYup. People complain about VCU tickets being expensive, you're looking at around $150 per game at minimum for the next 5 years to sit in the JPJ nosebleeds.
I wonder how these ticket prices compare with other ACC programs?yeah thats a HARD PASS for me. Glad I'm not a UVA fan
It could certainly be worse. Duke requires a minimum donation of $8,000 per year with a 3-year commitment just to buy two tickets.I wonder how these ticket prices compare with other ACC programs?
Yeah but whats both of their average ticket prices for a game.... thats not UNC/Duke? Cause obviously that price is gonna be astronomical. It could certainly be worse. Duke requires a minimum donation of $8,000 per year with a 3-year commitment just to buy two tickets.
Meanwhile, UNC lets you buy season tickets with just a $100 donation.
Sneaky. Very sneaky. You think he didn’t coach hard because he knew he was going to recruit BYU’s backup point guard to UVA and he didn’t want to hurt the kid’s feelings? 4D chess stuff.
No wonder they're paying him so much. Maybe we should have paid him more and had him coach baseball too.Odom is coaching the football team too!
donors at the $25k level ($125k over 5 years) in those areas could buy up to 8 seats per how I read it but the committment is 5 yearsHahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahahhahaha
