Ryan Pearson evicted from the Marriott today...

George Mason's Ryan Pearson in a fit of anger trashed his hotel room at the Marriott following the VCU-GMU game. After the vandalism occurred, the Marriott staff evicted him and asked him to pack up all his things and leave immediately. His parents were charged with the bill for all damages caused. Both Coach Larrannaga and George Mason AD Tom O'Connor were none too pleased with Pearson's behavior (as one could imagine) and packed up the team on the team bus and left shortly after the game. However, not before Coach L and O'Connor had a serious talk with Pearson. This caused a bit of a scene at the Marriott today.

With this latest antic from Pearson following the pillow-gate incident, I'd imagine Coach L will be doling out some punishment in fairfax.
 
What kind of punishment can you give him now? Season's over and they aren't going anywhere for the post-season. CIT? Guess they could punish him for the start of next season but that would be a big delay.
 
Yeah Pearson has had his fair share of disciplinary issues. He's a bit of a prima donna. He is passionate on the court and really gives 100% effort...I guess he's just as passionate off of it. The results of his disappointment and anger are clearly evident from his behavior. That said, Coach L is a pretty good coach who will certainly discipline him for his embarrassing behavior. A lot of people were talking about it at the Marriott and it's an embarrassment for the program. Hopefully Pearson learns from this as he's one of Mason's leaders for the next 2 years.

If they are going to the CIT, I'd imagine Pearson would bench him for one or more games. I'm sure that would send a message.
 
Side Note: Cam Long did not go on the team bus back to Fairfax. Instead, his parents drove him from the hotel.
But anyway...who thinks Pearson will be suspended for their tournament game? *raises hand*
 
Yeah Cam didn't ride on the team bus either. His parents took him home instead apparently. It's a young team and they are kids, they'll learn from this.
 
Also, for those of you who didnt know, and were outside before they let the VCU fans in , Ryan Pearson's Mom flicked off all the VCU fans who were booing her and talking trash, while Pearson's father was actually laughing at us and dishing out the trash talk right back, in a friendly way of course. Obviously Pearson and his mother have anger issues, and obviously his mother doesnt understand that students from one team are always going to boo fans of a rival school. At least for her sake she wasnt an ODU fan, I could just imagine what all the Rams wouldve done then. :lol:

Pearson's mom...not so much.
 
Yeah his dad was funny, I dont know what his mothers problem is. Im sure if she was a kid she wouldve been doing the same thing. Besides its not like we only boo'd her. We boo'd every single GMU fan and ODU fan that walked by. Get use to it, being that your son is "currently" still on the team.

His dad was a cool guy this morning, played along with the fun and joked around with us in line before game. but his mom was something else. flickin us off and cussing then coming back out and doing more and getting into an argument until his pearson's dad came over and took her away. she needs help. ryan must have got it from her

lol they do say that Kids learn a lot from their parents both good and bad :lol:

Obviously Ryan and his mom woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
