Seriously?? We beat Drexel bad and end up on the wrong side of highlights??? WTF ESPN???

Someone at VCU needs to get a handle and be sending them ridiculous Larry blocks and thunderous dunks.

Seriously???

Not surprising. Same thing happened last year when we thumped Mason at home and yet, Mason got a favorable mention on the top 10 plays

I saw it and was really hoping for one of the great plays Larry made tonight. Don't get me wrong, that was a nice pass and finish, but think there were some better play choices to chose from like the alley-oop or the pass fake which was simply embarrassing for the Drexel player.

Its always good to get good press and who says I don't want us to win? I just want to get respect when respect is deserved. We had highlights and VCU needs to work on getting us on the plus side when the rare time that one of our games gets put on ESPN.

VCU has nothing to do with it really. ESPN will show what they want to show. It's all about what "they" think is highlight worthy.

You said you didnt care if we won. I am more interested in winning. I dont want to lose 'pretty'. But truth be told we had prettier plays than they did, and more of them!

GO RAMS!

What did you expect? When is the last time that ESPN showed highlights of a VCU game? Even the Hofstra game (aired by ESPN) didn't get any mention on Sportscenter.

And thats my point... Someone in the marketing department needs to start buying dinners for ESPN producers or something (yes I know it isn't that easy but that isn't my job so I will be ignorant here and be happy with that)

We could buy them cars and it wouldn't help.

Even when we beat OU (ranked 17th at the time) we didn't get a mention on Sportscenter (yes I know it was football season). I think that game was on an ESPN station also.

We've always struggled with respect. We'll have to become ranked to get any coverage.

ESPN doesn't care about Mid-Majors, ESPN cares about $$$ and ratings. That is all.

My counter point to that is Drexel just got coverage and they are not ranked. I know we aren't going to get say low Big East team coverage but when mid majors gets coverage it would be nice to get a holler.

My seriously is to ESPN... SERIOUSLY??? yea and OU pissed me off too. Wasn't that on the deuce? not even the U?

Sounds as if ESPN has replaced the Richmond-Times Dispatch as our enemy. Come on, guys. Enjoy the win. Let the media do their thing.

I don't know how Brandon's behind the head pass to Larry for the slam didn't make it. sick dunk, sicker pass.
