Coach, don't schedule Tech or Uva -they won't help our RPI if we beat them-maybe a home only game for the money is OK but thats it-tell them where to stick it now
 
^ I agree with this. Maybe a 2 in Richmond for 1 in Blacksburg would be fitting a lesser opponent like the Chokies.
 
I don't want to subject our fans to 2 hours of watching Seth Greenberg whine at refs.
 
wait...don't we have to pay them to play us? I thought was how it worked... ;)
 
Screw them both! I believe Greenberg was asked why he did not schedule teams like VCU or ODU and his reply was it did nothing for his program - if we lose it hurts us and we are supposed to win so we do not benefit from those teams. Seth needs to take the blame for his schedule and the blame for making the tournament especially this year when the ACC after UNC and Puke was basically average.

F Tech and UVA not holding a 10 point with 45 seconds to play PRICELESS!
 
VCU should play VT and UVA as long as it's a home and home or someplace like the Coliseum used. It would be a benefit to each team usually for both RPI and financial reasons.
 
Some coaches just don't get it. There's so much to gain from playing quality CAA teams. Georgetown has scheduled ODU to 2 home and home series that we have split. Hasn't hurt us 1 bit. Maybe Tech fans can't see that winning against a quality opponent especially on the road are gold. Our win @ ODU was great for our NCAA resume. I think Georgetown will continue to schedule one CAA team a year. Georgetown plays tons of local midmajors home and home. Don't know why Tech is afraid to. We've done home and homes with ODU, James Madison, and Navy since JT3 took over. We've also done H/Hs with Fairfield, Tulane, Ball State, Savannah St, and technically Temple and Memphis but those probably go in a different category due to their status.
 
Hating is over.

I would love to see this team play Georgetown.

FUVA and FVTech. They add nothing.
