SHAKA ON ESPN @ 8:15

Shaka came on about 8:41 via phone. Did a great job of unemotionally articulating VCU's efforts to play OOC tough teams and this year's very good CAA conference. Said comments by ESPN doubters would be used as motivation, but right now selection is in past and focus must be on what VCU needs to do on court.

Nicely done. I'd say the whole interview [ESPN talking head in studio] lasted about 3-4 minutes.
 
HE11 Yeah- Bring it on Baby. Good job by Smart of doing the politically correct thing, in representing the University, and all of us. He got his point across. He was pretty clear that he had his boys listening to everything, and that they know exactly what they have to do. Bring it on, muthfukkas.

I can tell you this- we're representing the little guys out here, even more so than usual, and I firmly believe these men are going to come out weilding! I can't wait. I think USC is going the same route as their Pac-10 brethren- the Bruins. Go RAMS!
 
so basically the additional seeds are for more BCS schools and the selection committee didn't follow suit..and big east sports entertainment network is mad
