SHAKA SMART TO EXPERIENCE THE RIDE OF A LIFETIME

VCU coach Shaka Smart will strap in for the ride of a lifetime when he braves Richmond’s ¾-mile oval in the Indy Racing Experience two-seater. The car is a real IndyCar, stretched to fit a passenger behind the driver. These cars are powered by actual IndyCar engines and driven by licensed Indy Racing League drivers.

Following his laps, where he’ll reach speeds of approximately 150 mph, Smart will be available for media interviews to talk about his first trip to Richmond International Raceway.

I plan on trying to head out there to get some pics. Depending on the feel of the press conference I may see if I can get some comments on Grayson now that he's officially taking classes.
