Listed as $325,000. Does not include extras and benefits. State employees salaries can be retrieved from the TimesDispatch.com with a search engine.

Others: Blaine Taylor $212,612; Jim Larranaga $525,000; Matt Brady $290,000. Tony Shaver's is not posted.

interesting that these posted salaries are what the school pays abd budgets for the coach. Obviously their incomes are bumped up by the donors. If so, wonder why Laragana is the 4th highest paid state employee?

I am guessing GMU hasnt the donor support to supplement his salary? Wonder what his total package is. He is over $500k from its base salary.

I'm guessing he got a higher salary for making the Final Four a few years back. That's my guess.

usually coaches get a base salary from the school that is appropriate for the position. The Ath dept pays the remainder to "keep" the coach. Notice Bennett nor Greenberg in the discussions. Pretty sure Shaka gets more than the published salary. I just find it odd GMU's coach gets his salary from the state
