Shaka's Twitter posting

Ed Nixon is playing with a terrific attitude ... He's also playing really well. It's amazing how those two things coincide!

This seems like it could lead to a deja vu of what happened to Jamal Shuler when Capel left and Grant came in. Let's hope we get the same type results with Ed. As I stated months ago, I think Ed can really thrive under this system Shaka is implementing - play good D and score off the turnovers.

I agree, the key is his finishing around the basket. reports are that is improving and if that is the case then all signs look good for Ed.

If he has finally matured (attitude) and simply ties his shorts instead of "sagging" on the court, his game improves by 10% immediately. Throw in a little improved skill and some time in the weightroom and his improvement could jump 20% - 25%.

The season opener must be getting close since I'm complaining about sagging shorts already.

Maybe he's slender of build and his shape prevents his pants from staying up....as in A$$less Ed Nixon.

Seriously, it will be interesting to see how "on" Shaka's tweets are as we get into the season.

Anybody thinking what i'm thinking, that the more i hear about this year's team, the more amped i get for us to go deep. If we get the point set this team could be ready to make a run into late March this year! Can't wait to see it on the court.

I'm taking a wait and see approach before getting amped about this year's team. Way too many question marks.

We will get the point set. When we do, watch out!

Exactly. Our coach WAS a point guard. He should be able to coach the position.
