IF he goes anywhere it will be wherever Darius Theus goes. Theus began recruiting him when he was assistant at Siena before coming here. So that's been about 3 years. Barksdale loves VCU. If we keep Theus we keep Silas.

You can toss as many predictions as you wish at this thing. What's the parlay? Why aren't people betting on this? They bet on everything else sports related? What's the line? One of the things about having a coaching carousel as a main feature of your program (until you gain some stability) is... you never know. You just don't. he's not a commit, he is signed. That makes it a little different. Though I don't imagine we would stop him if he wants out. Let's see who our next coach is, if he is even interested in re-recruiting players already here or signed for next year. Seems Silas wanted to be pretty close to home, but Charlottesville still fits the bill.

Unfortunate but not unexpected. I imagine every current roster player and all of the recruits/signees are at least considering their options. Will be up to the new coach to keep who he can.
