Joey Rodriguez increased his assist total to 206 this evening. This puts him at third place all time.

4 more assists ties him with Eric for second place at 210 (2008-2009).

19 more assists would tie him with Eric for first place (2006-2007).

I'm here to clean up your math. Joey has 206. Eric had 224 in 2006-07. 19 assists would give Joey the record. He needs 18 to tie.

Joey in all likelihood will end up 2nd seeing as how we only have one more game. great year for J-Rod and he can go after breaking it next year.

Yeah, I would be happy if he broke Amazing's record!

Hopefully we will only have one more game left this season, so that could be a stretch, but next year the record could be his for the taking.

With that asst to B-Roz last night I think we can call it even....that was amazing 2!

You do understand that Joey's assists have occurred over about 73 games this year right?

I wouldn't exactly go that far.

Joey Rodriguez (2009-10), 206 assists in 35 games (5.9 apg)
Eric Maynor (2008-09), 210 assist in 34 games (6.2 apg)
Eric Maynor (2006-07), 224 assists in 35 games (6.4 apg)

I do believe that you exaggerated that statistic more than Nancy Pelosi's plastic surgeon exaggerated her cheekbones, sir

I'd love to agree with you, but then we would both be wrong.

I understand your inability to do simple math...

...but his point is that in 2006-07, Maynor had 224 assists in 35 games. In 2009-10, Rodriguez has 206 assists in 35 games. That's a difference of 18 assists (~9% of his assist total) in the same amount of games, which is statistically significant.

The only statistics that are significant to the single season assist record are total number of assists (Currently 206), and total number of seasons (1).

This isn't the single 35 game season assist record. Nobody seems to care that Keith Highsmith (third place) only got 25 games.
