I haven't seen this as a topic yet on RamNation, and it seems relevant enough to basketball to start a topic on this board.
Latest I heard, real snow start Fri night for those of us in the Piedmont region, should start late Fri/early Sat for RIchmond. According to the NBC 12 weather blog they are calling for around 6" at this time. NWS in Wakefield has already issued a Winter Storm Watch for Henrico and Chesterfield (but not Richmond oddly enough). Which begs the question, at this point, how many people are going to brave the weather and how many are gonna stay at home on homecoming?
I actually overheard some concession stand workers talking about it and how they thought maybe "a few students would walk over". So I turned to them and said, "A lot of people are gonna show up, it's homecoming."
So, ram fans, in the tradition of a "roll call" topic, who's in for Georgia State and homecoming? (You can change your status as the forecast changes.) Also, feel free to post your own updates with weather forecasts.

At this point, I plan on showing up. I may have to find accommodations Fri night to make sure I'm in the Richmond area.

4 wheel drive, boots and a ticket...got all I need ...see ya there

I wonder how the 8:00 start time is going to effect the game? That's a good little amount of time to make driving treacherous.

Outside of that, I love the idea of a Chill N Grill in the snow (although I know some of you will be boycotting it). Should be an interesting day...

Last year, when we were on the way to the airport (BWI), the airline called to tell us our flights to Oklahoma City had been canceled because of snow, so we DROVE to Oklahoma! I'll be at my 161st game in a row.

We will make it, some how.

On the plus side, most of the heaviest snow is forecast to fall overnight Friday night and early Saturday (right now that is the forecast). So by the time it is time to go to the SC, I suspect the big stuff will be cleared. So just leave early and drive slow and carefully.

Have to say that FMRick and vcuyvon are definitely the most dedicated Rams fans I've ever heard of. I would love to be able to travel to every game at some point in my life - - I gotta get the kids into and through college first though!

Got a bunch of the crew coming down from the DC area. That is the only concern I have. Everybody make the trip down safely, and let's get the Stu Rockin in the Snow!

3 minute walk from my apartment...I'm in, unless we get 6 feet and I can't get out the door....

Where is your passion?

I suggest never living further than walking distance from anywhere you need to be, ever...

So, you just need to find a place that's within walking distance of a grocery store, a store for other essentials like clothes, etc (a Walmart will suffice for both), an ABC store, where you work and/or go to school, city hall/county office building (in case you need to go there), the courthouse, the Stu, the Richmond Coliseum (for CAA tourney), whatever arenas we play for our NCAA appearances, the Ford Center (OKC Thunder's arena). AND convince anyone you ever want to visit (friends, family, etc) to live near you.
