As therapy for dealing with last night's loss to UCF, allow me to list my memories of good times provided by the Rams in my 46 years of being a fan.
Beating Minnesota in the Franklin St gym 1970
Finally beating UR after starting 0-5
The sheer beauty of Reggie Cain's jumper
A Kendrick Warren dunk
Bo Jones against ECU
Beating Louisville at Freedom Hall in the first round of the Metro tournament
Any win over ODU
Beating Virginia Tech in the TDIT
Beating UVA at the JPJ
March of 2011
The bar in the Coliseum
The games with UAB ""Sit down Gene"
Winning the Sun Belt tournament in Charlotte
Monte Knight shot at JMU
Penny Elliott free throws at JMU with no time left
Dressing like the Blues Brothers and getting on ESPN in Jax and Charlotte
Partying with the USF Sun Dolls on the roof of the Hilton in Jax
Lambs shot against Reggie Lewis and Northeastern
Ren Watson's blocked shots
And so many more. Apologies to Bob Hope but "Thanks for the Memories

You have a great memory! I had forgotten the game highlights you mentioned even though i was at almost all of those games.

Pardon if I may pile on...

Dougie Brooks with the steal and dunk to cap the 2015 A10 tourney win after VCU confuses Dayton with a zone matchup.
Watchin VCU go four for four to win the A10 tourney
Mo with the steal and the dunk to cap the fur game at their place
Watchin SBs lose because they couldn't help but lamely storm the court
Watchin JQL and VCU score 11 points in 90 secs of play to steal one at ODU

Greg McCray's tip-in to beat Navy in Annapolis.
Gerald taking over at the end of a game at W&M.
Danny Kottak going 13 for 15 and Ed Sherod go 9 for 12 to beat Georgetown at GW.
The miracle shot Ren hit to force ODU into overtime even though we lost because Johm Moreau counted off five seconds in less than four.
Penny Elliot clearing space after snatching rebounds.
Windmill dunks by Wes Carmack.
Dana's clothing, J.D.'s Rams Club luncheons, Sonny's stories, listening to Shaka at the Commonwealth Club and watching Mike's wife when he came home.
Many more.

All great ones, but The Dagger stands out as being left off the list and
-The Sunbelt 45 second Shot Clock that was turned off with 4 minutes to go and the memory of us just giving Ed Sherod the ball to basically end the game those last 4 minutes.
-Concert Games at the Coliseum
-Ren's Block shots the maybe began our Fanbase's frenzy over defense
-Packing it into the corners with an overflow crowd at FSG
-Watching opposing team player's faces in the underneath hallways at the RC as they smelled elephant crap the games after the circus left town.
Danny Kotack on GW's court when we upset Georgetown after entering on crutches
countless more.

Concert games? can you tell us more?

To help fill the coliseum, they would pair a game with a concert that would occur after the game. I remember The Beach Boys, and I know there were one or two others. I also remember bringing a bag of ice under my jacket, and the sleeves and back lined with beers. I would create a cooler under my seat and once the game was over the the lights went down, the bar was open. ( security wasn't so tight in those days.). I am sure some others will help with names of other bands, it possibly was just two years they did this.

Miami sound machine one night...same night they had fireworks as part of the player intros...couldn't see the court until 10 min mark due to the lingering smoke

Far out.

Never had a band game in my era, but we did used to sneak beers in.

I sort of miss the old, scary, scummy downtown, and Coliseum, in a way.

Was it a VCU game that got cancelled due to condensation on the floor due to the ice being under it or was that a UVA game?
Yes, remember MSM, but had forgotten about the smoke from the fireworks.....
Skeen's last second tip in in the CAA tournament to beat Drexel that probably sealed out inclusion to the NCAA that year. The final 4 year.
EM's come back game against Mason during the CAA tournament.
The bus trip from Richmond to the Meadowlands and back, in 84?, the year RL hit that incredible shot, probably not a sober person on the bus (except the driver, hopefully).
On the charter flight to the final 4 and parking the VCU plane on the tarmac next to the planes from Kentucky. I thought we had "arrived"
Pulling up to the arena in Houston and seeing our logo up there with basketball royalty.
Freight Trains 3 pt shot at JPJ's

I am pretty sure it snowed like H--- the night of the Miami Sound Machine. We booked a room at the Marriott and spread the word that it was party room. Some guy we barely knew ran up a huge bill for room service! 8-)

I was on that bus and I approve the message about no sober people.
