I think if VCU pulls out a 2nd place finish that will be enough for an NCAA bid. VCU must run wild in preseason NIT as well for this to come to fruition. I have a wacky little feelin' the CAA is sending two this year. An NIT is okay with a lot of Freshman, I can work with it I guess, but a CIT or CBI is unacceptable and you will here the cries for Grant's return.

We have a veteran team and at some point if Shaka is as good a coach as some say he has to do something with this years crew. Capel did it his second, year, Grant his first and third.
Shaka has a solid point, two very good shooting guards, a solid veteran 3/4 player in Burgess, and a two former four star post players one of which is a returning Senior. Add in a solid and improving back up pg, with great freshman like Reco, Juvonte this team is built to win now.
Really, if not now when? The way the classes are structured we will always have cycles when we have a high number of Freshman, and Seniors.
Therefore, anything less than an NCAA win is unacceptable.

I for one expect nothing less than a CAA title and NCAA berth from this team. NCAA or bust! F the NIT, after the snub last year I say f them and their stupid tournament. But something tells me we are not going to have to worry about this year. This team can be magical.

I will be disappointed after every loss.
