David Tolleris, a commercial weather forecaster in Chester, said: "I'm confident central and eastern Virginia are going to see a significant snowstorm."

Tolleris also said it's too early to estimate the amount. But he said the snowstorm could rival the one that dropped up to 14 inches on parts of the Richmond area Jan. 30.

You're looking at 47 degrees Thurs, 52 Fri, and 54 Sat.

Snow won't be a problem.

The Weather Channel has those temps for those days but other forecasters like the National Weather Service and Channel 8 have it much colder than that.

They're calling for a massive drop in temperatures before the start of the storm.

This event for March 2-3 is going to be warmer so the actual temperatures near the ground are going to be critical. Temperatures could range from anywhere between 32 and 36 degrees at the start of the storm and then as it begins to bomb out it pulls in colder air.

Dave from wxrisk is really good. He nailed the forecast fro both major storms this winter a full week ahead. Historically the guy is like 70-80% correct on major weather events.

So much for golfing friday morning. Last weather update I checked had 51 degrees Friday.

They have now posted a new article with quotes from the same people which mentions snow starting Tuesday into Wednesday.

I don't care if it snows 12 feet. As long as the darn runways are clear on Friday.

You are going to let a little snow freeze your tee time?! Where the heck is your dedication to the game?
