Jay,
Relax and play within yourself. Don't worry about needing to impress anybody. Don't get down on yourself. Don't force things. Wipe the slate clean. Confidently square up, take, and drain those open threes. Play with your team, not against them for minutes. You have 2 1/2 years of VCU basketball yet to play so be patient. You have an entire basketball community behind you wanting you to do well and get your shot back. We'll ALL be cheering for you when you do. So get out there and find that shot we know you have, and help complete our TEAM going into the second half of the season and beyond. Go RAMS!!!

I could 't agree more. I really want him to succeed, both personally and as a team player. Hang in there, Jay. You have a lot of fans behind you and you have plenty of time to make a difference for the team.

Jay. It'll come. Once a shooter, always a shooter. Don't be afraid to put a little backspin on the ball.

Adversity and tough competition from your teamates and opponents can only make you stronger if you believe in yourself. I will leave it to the coaching staff and Jay to analyze and fix his shooting mechanics. We all appreciate your contribution to the team effort, keep plugging brother and lift each other up when needed.

his shot is in Georgia State and he will find it saturday night and it won't leave his side for the rest of the season.

I hope it's all just nerves playing in a different conference and once he get comfortable with CAA ball, he'll start draining the 3's again.
