T.J. Gwynn

I'm guessing that it's because we needed a true big man in the lineup and the guards. Skeen is 6'9, burgess is 6'5, Nixon 6'4, Rozzell 6'2, and Joey 5'10. Burgess has always been in the starting lineup and we needed the 3 guards in Nixon, Rozzell, and Joey. TJ is more of a small forward

I"m not sure, but it seemed like he could have been sick. I saw him coughing a lot and he seemed a little off.

Lack of production....and unlike Gsvin he will stay hungry and play within himself and give us good minutes.

The official word is that me came before we.

Don't know if I buy that.....

Really, so when the COACH stands up in front of the donors post game and says "some people need to learn to put we in front of I and sometimes we need to remind them of that and that is why TJ did not start tonight or play significant minutes" you are not buying that? I guess once again the fans know more than the coaches and see everything going on every day in practice.

good info JeffC. I am surprised, even though I do not know TJ, he comes off as a leader of the team who plays hard nose, no non-sense basketball and is a team player. But the coaches did something right because the team looked solid today. They had a nice lead, The Blue Hens made a run, as most teams do in a game, but the team gained composure and finished the game out.

I don't know why Jamie doesn't play more. He just seems to get it and he seems to be very talented. But again I am not at practice so I don't know what goes on. I hope coach is getting them straight. Tuesday'a game is mega huge, if that is a term.

Relax, tough guy.

Doesn't mean that he is a bad guy or that he is not a team player most of the time, just that there was an issue and he was punished this game.

...perhaps a little frustration manifesting itself in practice...thought I saw a little of this when DE scored, KP was in and inbounded the ball and TJ was behind him ready to inbound. As they went down court TJ 'pushed' KP. Not a violent push, more of a directional push as in "get down court"...(not sure what the etiquette is on this and who inbounds when)

If TJ was benched due to putting me before we, then this team has some major team chemistry issues. TJ would be one of the last players on the team I would suspect of that. That makes at least two players that have sat this year due to attitude issues and one player serving a suspention form the league. And those are the only ones that have been stated publicly by the coaching staff. One win at home against a 1-4 CAA, 5-11 overall team does not right the ship.
