Is there any way to organize some sort of pre-game tailgating for at least the weekend games? I'm sure this will help with the Stu's "atmosphere" and the student turnout as well.

People are definitely working on this.

A lot of folks at VCU want to use that parking lot at the old Ukrop's for various things. I know the Athletic Department is trying as well...

Feel free to write the office of the President and let them know how you'd like to see em use it...(or whoever else you need to write)

Theres enough risk of being run over at VCU. We don't need to add it by sending lots of wasted people stumbling across Broad Street. Of course our fans hold their alcohol a lot better than a certain ODU fan last Saturday.

Even so the whole alcohol thing should be kept on the down low. At least until a spot is secured.

Theres enough risk of being run over at VCU. We don't need to add it by sending lots of wasted people stumbling across Broad Street.

Speaking of, as I walked around campus yesterday, I saw a girl run a stop sign and hit a biker at one of those side streets leading to Broad near Ackell, I saw a pedestrian loaded into an ambulance after being hit at Broad and Belvidere, and I saw a Ford Escape on its roof after running a red and being flipped by a minivan... it's getting much worse in my opinion...
