Thank you Zeb Jackson, one HECK of a RAM

Forget Grover. Actually, I was referring to the Cleveland Indians administration that in the mid 50s put together among the top starting rotations of all time - Bob Feller, Bob Lemon, Early Wynn and Mike Garcia. Feller, Lemon and Wynn are in Hall of Fame and Garcia was a two-time AL ERA leader.
I vividly recall walking over, about 100 ft, from office in biology building and watching Erving et alle working out in the old gym.

Evans, Tracy or Ward. My gut says it’s Ward at around 14ppg; although I think we’ll have 6-7 guys all at 7ppg or more. Going to be plenty of games with a different leading scorer and a much more balanced roster overall.
Ward 14
Evans 12
Tracy 10
Lazer 9
Mitchell 8
Jennings 7
Nowell 6
Fermin 5
Belle 5
Nyk 4
Hill 4
imo we better hope nowell averages more than 6

The word on the street, is Zeb is finished here. We likely wont hear anything about a pro team until after the g league draft.

Zeb put out a post saying goodbye to Ram Nation. There is no conjecture or any room for speculation.

He gone.
He made a personal announcement like any other player but it's usually accompanied with AD's formal announcement to the media which publically cements the deal.

The fact that the AD has not formally announced Zeb's departure only leaves open the questions on whether or not they could still be attempting get the extra year of eligibility and persuade him to stay.

If, in fact, he's really gone..the lack of a formal announcement serves as an unnecessary impediment to obtaining an experienced PG from the portal.

PG Agents may be dissuaded from taking VCU's phone calls simply because VCU hasn't definitely said Zeb is no longer in the picture.

VCU should spend 15 minutes cobble together a formal announcement for the RTD, leave no doubt, and then pursue an experienced PG from the portal in the strongest negotiable position.

I blame myself for engaging.

Look...i would love to come on here and pump sunshine and rainbows and say everything is hunky dory...trusting the process...but I want to see VCU be eligible for an at large bid and win it's first ncaa game since 2016.

Over the last 2 years, the AD has a track record to ignoring little details or making errors in judgement that may well have cost this program both above goals over the last 2 years.

23-24: Letting Reid string them along for a better offer, bypassing other bigs in the portal, and ending up with none.

24-25: Not prioritizing a big early on and ending up Mo Wague as the only serviceable choice and having to depend on Fermin. Assuming Jamari Thomas was in camp without being signed and having to pull off miracle to get Russell.

25-26: Now they go into portal season with assumption the Zeb is returning without a plan B. Zeb decides to move on. Now it's late in the portal season with no really experienced pg out in the portal.

They can't leave any loose ends when pursuing Jackson's replacement.

That's the third year in a row the AD has seemingly gotten caught with their pants down because they failed to pay attention to detail.

It's perplexing to me how they keep repeating to make same mistakes over and over again.

We really need that episode of Rams Rewind to come out so we can dispel all this speculation surrounding Zeb not coming back.

Lots of speculation in this. How do you know that they assumed Zeb was coming back? Everything I heard about Jackson was speculation from fans. Martelli has done an exceptional job with building this roster in my opinion. I love the thought of Nowell at point with Ward at the two guard. Lots of good options with Nyk to Brandon to Hill that he can also work with. Brought in some good wings and Lazer to solidify things down low. Quit wringing your hands and acting like you are a talent scout.
