Since I'm new to the forum, I just wanted to say, "hello." And also thank everyone including the naysayers, ranters, ravers, as well as those more level-headed posters for putting things in perspective. I came here after the UAB game distraught (like most of you) in search of some answer to the "why?" I kept screaming at my computer and then my roommate. After seeing the type of conversation that was going on here I was able to smile and just be glad I get to be a season ticket holder for the first time since I became a fan 7 years ago. I look forward to more thoughtful insight into firing a second year coach midway through the season, benching one of our most productive players after a few bad games, so on and so forth. Maybe I'll even contribute some kooky ideas of my own. Or better yet maybe we won't have anymore disturbing losses that test our faith and have nothing to talk about. Keep up the good work guys.

Go Rams

Welcome to the boards!

Are you the guy who bought Jackson Ward's tickets?

Welcome. We're in dire need of level-headed Ram fans without an agenda other than getting joy out of VCU basketball.

I've been a follower for almost 35 years. I remember many pre-Internet nights calling the Times Dispatch scoreboard from all over the country/Caribbean for updates. It's been a blast.

heck, I remember having trouble finding scores the next day. Streaming aint a heck of lot better than radio-quality is terrible-sucks.

I couldn't wait for the next day. That's why I had to call the Times Dispatch scoreboard.

Welcome, glad you have found the site to be enjoyable. The best thing about this season is that we have two games to enjoy the next two days.

I enjoy the radio broadcasts. Robbie and Mike do a great job. I agree quality should be better in this day and age.

Yo dude...welcome.

But they lack leadership and discipline. It's their producer's fault. He needs to get fired up and get a few technicals.

Welcome, yodude. You are joining a great group of guys and gals who love VCU basketball. We may disagree with each other; that is our right. In the end, we will do anything to promote VCU athletics.

great avatar yo dude. funny, i was just given this completely awesome shirt for xmas.

Nice to see some O fans on here too. If there ever was a team that I've learned about the hardships of fandom from it's been the old boys in orange and black. That shirt rules btw.
