Much like WW, we were just ahead of our timeI'm at Total Wine and I see Ol' Dirty has a school branded beer now. It really grinds my gears that the one we had ready to roll out was cancelled.
Why?this is one to monitor
Why?
Spit it out!I'm at Total Wine and I see Ol' Dirty has a school branded beer now. It really grinds my gears that the one we had ready to roll out was cancelled.
Oh, I absolutely did not buy or drink anySpit it out!
I don’t think we were. School themed beers existed before. No one raised heck over it though like with us. Given our frats getting bad spotlight for hazing deaths and recently some other stupid things doesn’t exactly help the matter.Much like WW, we were just ahead of our time
The frats being responsible for hazing deaths is why heck was raised about the VCU themed beer. Adam Oakes was killed by alcohol poisoning and VCU thought it was a good idea to sponsor a beer like 5 minutes later. I'm sure if they did it now there wouldn't be an issue.I don’t think we were. Yep. If we did this during the prime years everyone would be just be like look at VCU with its havoc, the passionate fanbase and now even their own beer! The timing was tone deaf. The frats being responsible for hazing deaths is why heck was raised about the VCU themed beer. Actually if I remember correctly, it's because of VCU MCV and Health having in its mission statement to not harm people, and alcohol is a poison that harms a lot of people. The hazing was also part of the pushback. The frats being responsible for hazing deaths is why heck was raised about the VCU themed beer.
