The 2024 Offseason Thread

I also think if Hurley were to go to NBA.... he'd be better off with a team like the Spurs (once Pop hangs it up). A well run organization, that obviously has aspirations/expectations of winning.... but is not under the spotlight 24/7/365 like The Lakers, Clippers, Celtics.... etc. Where expectations are magnified.

Even during the Spurs doming years with Duncan, Ginobili & Parker..... more people were talking bout the Lakers or Lebron & KD or Carmelo Anthony... or the big 3 in boston with Pierece, Allen & Garnett. And then of course when Lebron went to MIA with Wade & Bosh.
Honestly idk if I could ever see him outside the Northeast. That's why I said the Knicks because they are good rn and need a little more to get over the hump. His personality would be a great fit for Boston, but Mazzula is killing it. Maybe even Philly would be a good spot if they manage to keep Embiid for that long.

How long will Matt McKillop last? Bad day for Davidson when they have to tell him good bye.
They won’t fire him. It will be mutual or he will leave on his own(also known as Daddy’s direction)

Lack of a grad program kills them along with their academic standards.

F Davidson.
When they came into the league they had balanced teams with good offensive big men. Since the coaching change they have really been one dimensional with normally one big scoring threat. Seems like roster construction is a problem.

Maybe mentioned here before, but called the ticket office to check on the status of my 2024-25 season tickets, and Claire is awesome. Also was able to move 5 rows down for the same price.

Almost low enough to catch an errant Jaynel pass.

Claire is awesome. I have known her since she was probably 7 years old. She swam at Lynchburg college and went thru VCU Sports Leadership to get her master's degree. I just went to her father's retirement party two weekends ago.

By the way, Claire has always been a proponent of this new "buy your seat" arrangement and pushed for this. She did not understand why we were doing it the other way and kept asking me about it when she and her group began working for the ticket office.
