Last time I saw them they were dissecting our defense @the Stu..looking forward to their next visit...big time....I've got your welcome right here.

you know we play them twice - so you can go to Charlotte for round two

Davidson takes on bigger challenge
Bob McKillop's team will be tested nightly in move to Atlantic 10 from Southern

My friends, there is a big difference between playing the likes of Chattanooga and Furman in league play, or Saint Louis, VCU, Massachusetts, Dayton, St. Joe's and LaSalle in the A-10.

Since the Southern Conference is a one-bid league, there's more pressure to win the conference tournament and the league's automatic NCAA bid. You can reach the NCAA tournament from the A-10 on an at-large bid, but the regular-season schedule is tougher. The A-10 is loaded, with six teams making the Big Dance last season, each winning at least 24 games.

Things like coaching stability, knowing how to win, and tourney experience will help davidson, but there's no denying that they are not used to a season of A-10 level competition.

GMU may actually have a chance this season. That is, rather...a chance to come in second.

Welcome to Davidson - I think they are a great addition to the A-10. I am glad we play them twice.

No question. But just look at their out of conference schedule year in and year out. They will adjust to it. They're up for the challenge. Terrific addition to our league and I'm excited to have them join the A10.
