It's been explained already, but I'll summarize: the Trump administration is contemplating deporting up to 240,000 Ukrainian nationals who came to the US as refugees from the war. There is concern that the administration may go beyond that and start deporting all Ukrainian nationals who aren't citizens. However, any such mass deportation would not likely begin until mid-April, so unless we're in the Final Four, it seems unlikely he'll be affected unless something stupid happens.

I stopped watching and listening to the news awhile ago. I only watch college basketball and "Suits" reruns(s1-s9).

And when I come here I just read the latest thread page and react to first thing that I see...

I think I've seen the Suits opener 100 times...I'm hooked on the show!!

There's a pretty strong case to be made that Max is one of the best transfers we've ever had.

Agree, we don't have this record without Max. You can see why he doesn't come off the court. He is our glue guy, does everything he's supposed to and doesn't make many mistakes. We will go as far as Max takes us.

For me that doesn't mean just his scoring. I could be him setting up the play. Taking the other teams best defender and letting someone else score easier, or him guarding the other teams best player.

I think that case is pretty much certain. Whether he's THE best transfer we've ever had may be debatable, one of the best is not debatable.
