Punked in the sense that Ferm shut him down on defense when they were in the game together. Ferm was chirping hard in that game too & it clearly got in JJ’s head. I never sang the kid’s praises as you made it sound.

I read the other day that the building with the Penny Lane Pub has been sold. Not sure how that will impact the pub.

My very first night on campus as a freshman, a group of us walked all the way down to Penny Lane, got drunk, then staggered home. It was the start of many great memories, including all the memories I can't remember because I was too drunk at times.

My first night at VCU (orientation without my parents) was spent at The Library … the bar, not the place with books.
