The most memorable last second NCAA tourney shot

Awesome
I really hope we can celebrate like that again soon.

unfortunately, that blogger made a mistake... that was a first round game... we never made the sweet 16

If you listen at the very end, does the announcer say our "sister" school is Richmond?

kind of cool to hear the fight song in the background too. Pep band has come a long way.

Are you sure that's the single most memorable last-second NCAA tournament shot?

There have been 6000 or 7000 total NCAA tournament games. I'm going to have to request that you review them all and get back to us regarding the matter.

Thanks.

I've watched that shot a hundred times, and my family was very close to Ro's family during his career here at VCU. That shot was something I will probably never forget. Amazing, and could not have happened to a better guy. And the RAMS deserved to win that game. What a game, btw.

You know, I saw the title of this thread and thought...

"More Rolando Lamb"

You guys never give up, do you?

The dude from NU who missed the Free Throw to set up Rolando's heroics - recently fired Penn Coach - Glen Miller.

UVa played Iona in the game after ours. I have to say the UVa fans pulled hard for VCU in that game. And we returned the favor.

As it would be if those games happened again this year in the tournament. We can hate on UVa all we want for various other reasons, but I'm sure they'd cheer for us and we'd cheer for them in the actual tournament if the games were the same.

I remember Buffalo just a few years ago. Never saw so many VCU fans cheer for ODU against Butler, or so many ODU fans cheer for VCU against Duke.
