Fun game; happy we won.
If we lost would it have made a difference? No. This edition has to win the A10 tournament. RN, we’re playing in a one bid league.

What I would rather have is the first wave clamp down, take the lead and shock the opponent and then have the second wave of hill and belle come in and demoralize the opponent by stepping on their neck.

probably right about VCU - but a scenario that will put us on the bubble is win all but one of our remaining conference games and in that case our NET will likely be low 40s or high 30s- but unless we improve a considerable amount that is unlikely

right now SLU is clearly an at-large team if they don't win the AQ - so in the scenario St louis loses in a10 tourney there will likely be 2 from a10 in ncaat
 
Made it back no issues! Seeing the team live - I can see lots of need for improvement.
Not sure how/ why Tracy is still in starting lineup. - Ward looking good.
Players are slow to get back on D after a made bucket and
the passing inside is puzzling at times.

We made less mistakes and got the W,
after seeing St Luis play last night. They are definitely top A10 team that I do not want to play must get the 2 or 3rd place slot.
 
Gritty road win against an underrated opponent. Belle and Hill continue to prove this team goes the way they go.

Jennings, Hill, Evans, Belle, and Djokovic should be the starting 5 with Lewis, Nowell, Ward and Tracey as the 2nd rotation please!

Good teams win, great teams cover. We're a good team that has a chance to be great if we can find our identity and I think the identity could be Hill + Belle as the focus with everyone else pouring it on. Can't wait to beat UR.

Doubtful that happens. He is definitely not his dad. I thought he was going to have a stroke down there in the final minutes and soil his Beooks Bros. suit.

And...the A10 is NOTORIOUS for having tournament results that maximize their NCAA bids (even before we joined the A-10). I'm sure it's just a coincidence that keeps happening year after year. :roll:

So book it, if Saint Louis has a serious shot at an at-large, they won't win the tournament.
