The Official Beat the Saint Louis Billikens in Missouri Thread

Any subject about St. Louis revolves around location, location, location ....

Has the school located on the Mississippi River ever considered leaving a conference starting with Atlantic to join the Missouri Valley conference?

It's the better part of a thousand miles to its eastern foes .... is it worth it?

No matter what the subject, Alvin Robinson's name pops up .... weren't Alvin's scoring, rebounding and fouls per game averages about the same?

For any traveling Rams...I was at that godawful SLU game 2 years ago, and wholeheartedly recommend heading to The Hill and checking out Giola's Deli. My only positive take away from that roadie.

I will second this.

I have some VCU grad friends that moved to St. Louis last summer. I told them back in June when A10 matchups were announced but not dates that if road SLU game was a weekend, I would go. I pulled the trigger on a flight in December and snagged game tickets in January. This’ll be my first time visiting St. Louis!

Note - I’ve seen VCU play 2 games in the Central time zone in my life. Both were located in the same city and same arena and VCU won both games! One of the games featured a guy coming off the bench to shoot 6-10 from 3 and finish with 26 points and the other featured our starting point guard having my all time favorite VCU stat line of 12 pts, 11 assists, and 0 turnovers. Anyone know which games I’m talking about?
