Let the games begin! First off, a Division III school with a really cool looking logo.

VCU (0-0, 0-0) vs. St. Mary's (MD) (0-0, 0-0) [no fan forum]

TV: None. Radio is Sports Radio 910 the Fan (910 AM or 98.5 FM); stream audio on the VCU Athletics app or the Ram Nation Network. Monday, October 28th at 7:00pm

History: St. Mary's (MD) is a rare D3 school with a history against VCU! VCU is 2-0 all-time against the Seahawks.

Last Meeting: VCU defeated St. Mary's (MD) 120-60 at the Franklin Street Gym on January 21st, 1975.

Last Games: VCU: We don't talk about that one. St. Mary's (MD): The Seahawks lost to Penn State Harrisburg 80-56 in the United East Conference Tournament's Volt Division Finals. Fun fact, the United East Conference was created from a merger of two smaller D3 conferences. The former conferences became the rather stupidly named Volt and Skye Divisions. Those are thankfully gone this year.

Anybody know when the ticket office is going to post our season tickets ?

It seems parking passes haven’t been posted yet. I guess they will be up soon .

When was the last time we did an exhibition against a D3 team? I can't really recall anything other than D2 teams. I wish the team would just schedule some of the local D2s like VUU and VSU. At least you'll get a decent crowd that way.

I recognize that the exhibition is a tune-up and nearly always a blow-out (shout out to Queen College in the Will Wade years, though) but it seems to me like playing a D3 is a waste of time. May as well schedule John Marshall High School. You might get a better game.

I guess when you resort to playing a D2 in Non Conf.... you gotta warm up with a D3 exhibition game?

For real though I have no idea.

I mean, it serves the same purpose and in the end, it doesn't even matter (apologies to Linkin Park).

Queens was an anomaly as they were a team on the verge of moving up to D1.
