Just a thread to put all the Maynor stuff in so we don't have to make a new thread every other day
 
Hey good idea! Maybe this can get sticked so everyone sees it before they post something. I won't be able to see many of his games so I would like to hear as much as possible about what is going on with him, but the NBA season is too long to make a new thread for every game or interview.
 
plus, maybe we could get this, and all the NBA/Jazz stuff moved to the Off Topic board
 
Tonight Maynor had 7 points (all in the 4th quarter) on 3-11 shooting, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 4 assists, 4 turnovers and 4 fouls. First half was not strong at all, but he pulled it together towards the end in typical Eric Maynor fashion for a Jazz win over Charlotte, 110-103.

P.S. the game was broadcast live (radio) on 1320kfan.com, likely there will be more games broadcast here as well in the future when they are not on TV.
 
I was surprised to see that Maynor took the 3rd most shots of any player in the game. I guess Sloan has given him permission to shoot when he sees an opportunity?

Eric Maynor should never be "Off Topic" to the VCU ram nation community.

Yeah, I would prefer this thread be left here, just use this one for all of the updates and possibly sticky it as well. We need to hurry up and figure out the procedure for NBA updates before Larry goes and we have another one to follow.

well we could just change the name of this forum I suppose

if a player isn't wearing black & gold, they shouldn't take up space on the VCU basketball forum... and that is doubly true if they're wearing powdery baby blue
 
While I feel that Maynor is just about as relevant to VCU basketball as any player on our current roster (since he basically was VCU basketball for 2 seasons :shock: ) this probably should go to the OT board, and just sticky it there
 
Leave it here. If you put it on the OT boards, there are lots of people that do not click on that board ever that would then be starting daily threads on Maynor here, which would defeat the purpose of the Maynor Thread in the first place.
