The Official Eric Maynor NBA thread

Leave it here. If you put it on the OT boards, there are lots of people that do not click on that board ever that would then be starting daily threads on Maynor here, which would defeat the purpose of the Maynor Thread in the first place.

That is actually a solid point.

E with 6 points (1-1 from 3, 3-4 FT), 2 assists, and 2 boards in 5 minutes so far against Portland.

I wasn't overly impressed with this until I saw that it was for 5 min of PT. Not bad at all. I haven't been able to watch him yet but it seems like he is able to get to the line quite a bit based on the stats.

He had a great start tonight-8pts (high) with 5 mins left in the half

Maynor tonight in their 108-97 win over Portland, in 24 minutes of PT: 2-3 FG, 1-1 3PT, 6-8 FT, 3 RB, 4 AST, 1 STL, 5 TO, 2 PF. 11 points total. Much better first half than 2nd half, commentators noting how exhausted he looked in the 2nd half...Said how strange it was that college players used to playing 35-40 minutes per game can seem so worn out after 20-30 minutes of play in the NBA.

Eric's performance will hopefully will do a lot for CAA recruiting in proving that 4 years in the CAA really can prepare you well for a career in the NBA.

I have an idea for what to do with this thread. Since we have "Around the CAA" and "General VCU Sports" forums, why not just add a "Former Rams" or a "Rams Gone Pro" news board where all the posts about Mike Nice or Maynor or B.A. Walker can go and be more organized.

that list isn't all active... one of those columns lists the last year they played... for ED/SD I believe that was listed as 2008
