Chris K mentioned in another thread that he is still getting paid this season so taking the check is not an issue. If an NBA owner wants to sign you to a contract and then throw games, my advice would be to take the check. Allow the owner to be the fool without becoming one yourself. It certainly appears better than a journeyman demanding to be let go so he can end his career which is where he stands right now.
As much as it sucks, a lot of point guards are going to have to get hurt in order for Eric to get another chance...with the way he left Philly, teams will be hesitant to sign him.Steve Nash out for the season in LA, Lin moving up but I am sure they will be looking to sign another point guard. That would be a nice opportunity for Eric.

But I hope he gets that next chance!
His shooting woes have been holding him back the last year or 2. Hope he gets it figured out.He switched his shooting motion up.
yeah and Reggie Jackson is already out with a bad ankle sprain. And with the amount of injuries piling up this early, E may just get that call.Westbrook out with broken hand.

Chances Thunder call on him up due to familiarity???
Is it likely that we would see him at a game if Tre is close to breaking the record?
