The Official Larry Sanders NBA thread

There it is folks, Larry's first flush in the NBA Summer League play.

It comes in the 10th minute of the second quarter in game 2 against the Grizzlies.

Should be many more of these in Mr. Sanders' NBA career.
 
LS having a good game against the Griz...6-8 from the floor...blocks and shot chanes galore....lots of talk by the announcers....
 
LS1 for 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Larry is killing it on the offensive and defensive ends. A 3 to tie it at 0.7secs left to potetially send it to overtime. He's 66% from the 3 today.
 
uh i am not sure how to report this.....Larry hits a 3 at the buzzer to tie the game...this followed another 3 Larry hit. Last second shot by Sam Young wins it for the Griz with .7 sec left ...2nd time Bucks get beat by shot with under 1 sec.

How much do you guys think ODU fans would love to have just one NBA thread similar to ours?

We now have 2 of our own who look to have promising NBA careers.

Larry is having a huge game tonight in his second Summer League game knocking down several mid-range jumpers and even two threes with one of them being a clutch shot to tie the game at 64-64 with .7 seconds. For the second consecutive game however the bucks lose a close one but a monster game from Mr. Sanders regardless.

He must've really been workin on his 3pt game after we all were crazy about him for actually taking those shots, though the last shot to tie the game he took he was off-balance but still made it, so that might've just been luck.
 
Great overall performance by Larry. Unfortunate for him and the Bucks to suffer another heartbreaker. The game should have went into OT but there is no replay in summer league. Keep it up Larry!!!!!

congrats Larry...may be summer league but you are doing exactly what you should be doing...
 
1st game: 4/15 fg, 7 rebs, 1 ast, 1 st, 3 blocks, 6 to, 9pts
2nd game: 9/14 fg, 2/3 3pt, 9 rebs, 2ast, 1 st, 2 block, 3 to, 22pts

Great improvement, definitely looked a lot smoother out there, better shot selection, great defensive. Sad that they lost again though, though not for the lack of effort.

Thanks for the stats, good job of data compilation.

You can really see from the stats that Larry felt a lot more at ease with his game tonight.
 
And I was one of the few on these boards advocating the three when he was a Ram. OH well, the Bucks will win the EC next year. :D
 
Ahhhhhhh, my darn DVR cut off with around 15 seconds left on the game clock so I missed the last trey by LS8. At least I could read about it here. The one right before looked good though. Great game, and the big man scored the Bucks last 6 points.
