Yeah, not a big fan of that one. Luckily this thread was already on the board when I checked so I didn't get got by the other one. Hopefully the next Michael Bradley Commits to VCU thread will be better.

Looks like he's not going to apoligize to the board for his sick attempt at humor. DB, you were the only one laughing-you have made a lasting impression, I will say that.

if you would like an apology...you may most certainly have it...didn't know one was in order, i'm sorry for riling you all up. although i meant it to be a satirical look at our rabid fandom, i realize it was not received as such. you have my apologies for that. however, as to your impression of me, that matters very little.
 
while I think the original thread at issue was a bit of a turd in the punchbowl, it wasn't exactly the end of the world either, and perhaps harrumphing like outraged Victorian gentlemen is an overreaction

the online equivalent of the rolled up newspaper swat and "bad attention whore" scold has been achieved... time to move on

Nope. A lasting impression has been made on vcu70 and I'm due for a beatdown from JacksonWard. :lol:

DB, don't read this if you don't care what I think. You may have made an impression on other people as well but my opinion has tempered now because of your apology. I now think you are a mature fanactic with too much extra time. I probably spend as much time on here but don't post often.
 
DB i accept your apology. I myself have made mistakes on this board. I have also been ridiculed and chastised on here as well. (mostly on CAAcrapZONE) Your attemp at humor was way off because my life is VCU Basketball, if it wasn't for VCU Basketball i'd jumped off the Lee Bridge years ago. I am serious. This recruit may or may not commit to VCU who knows, but it is very important to me. I'll repeat THIS RECRUIT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME.

By the way, i'd never give you a beat down. I honestly can say i'd bet my season tix to VCU games this year you could beat me up. I doubt you want too, but i'm just saying.

I HEREBY SAY, DB IS OKAY, AND I HOPE TO BUY HIM A DRINK SOMEDAY BEFORE OR AFTER A VCU GAME...
IT IS TIME TO MOVE ON FOLKS...
