Resume comparison. VT: 19-10, 2-6 vs. top 50, 7-7 top 100, 4-3 101+. VCU: 23-11, 3-5 top 50, 8-8 top 100, 3-2 101+. Not much difference. Also if Marquette, BC, and Baylor lost in round one it will give VCU even of big push to get in play in game but if we dont get in the NIT isnt that bad especially if we can it to NYC and shock the world on ESPN. SN: As if the rivalry couldn't get any crazier I saw a VCU fan go MMA on ODU fan saying "VCU SUCKS" if thats not having School Spring I don't know what is .

It is not possible for any team to shock the world by winning a consolation tournament. Sorry, it's the NIT.

It's RIDICULOUS that we aren't being brought up more for a bid. Linardi has people brainwashed that somehow his opinion is worth a darn. It pisses me off reading all these articles of how we'd be a "bid-stealer"...as if somehow we don't belong in the at large conversation along the likes of....

Alabama - 76 RPI, 4-8 against top 100
VA Tech - 63 RPI, 7-8 against top 100
Colorado - 77 RPI, 7-10 against top 100
USC - 67 RPI, 7-7 against top 100

And teams like Baylor, Nebraska, and Washington State, etc...

Fact is Linardi's 12-team bubble currently consists of 10 BCS schools, Memphis who's practically BCS themselves, and Missouri State.

That guy is a joke, and I encourage you all to tell him so next time you see him at the Stu calling a game.

Memphis has been absolutely awful this year. How are they even in consideration?
