Weird first post, but this was like it was for me yesterday when the Saints and Cowboys played. I absolutely hate the Cowboys, but I'm an Atlanta Falcons fan so I absolutely hate the Saints. To make a story short, the only time I'll ever root for the Cowboys they choke at the end.
This will be a slow moving, plodding affair. I think the Pussycats will pull it out in the end by virtue of playing on their home floor and probably playing better ball at this point in the season. An ODU win will help our conference RPI that is weighted down by the bottom feeders. I would find this an interesting game to watch but would have difficulty rooting for either team.
I think ODU wins this one by double digits...might change my mind if the Spiders can do something against Purdue today. I just think it's going to be tougher for the Spiders to replace a big guard who can do it all in David Gonzalvez than ODU replacing Leigh when they already have some real good bigs (Hassell is a beast) in the paint. Being at ODU doesn't hurt the Monarchs either.
is it okay to borrow ArtRams analogy of watching your brand new car go over a cliff with your mother-in-law in the front seat...

Same here - this morning I went to the gym and I see a SUV with VCU plates and a TICK sticker on the back. I thought I was going to hurl. How can you ruin VCU plates with a TICK sticker?
I am not a fan of UR or ODU but both are very good this year and will be hard to beat so let's give them some respect. I give the edge slightly to UR since it is in their yard.
