I'm not sure if the person who drives this car is on VCU Ramnation, but maybe someone knows him. Anyway, I saw a car today, it was a back late 00's Honda Civic, had a VCU ram license plate and some Ron Paul stickers on the back window. I have a message for its driver:
CHILL! No basketball game is worth your life!
I was driving WB on 64 (which I almost never do to get to the games) going over the Shockoe Valley Bridge and this Civic came up behind me in the left hand lane. There was slower traffic in the left lane (presumably following sings for I-95 SB). So, the Civic gets in behind me, nearly taking off my back bumper, continues to ride my butt until they get just enough room and gets back in the left lane, almost taking off another guy's front bumper. They continued to drive at a higher rate of speed than other traffic down the bridge.
I suppose it's possible this person works for the AD or the Stu and was late for work. I've been there before and yes I do stupid things when I'm running late. But, if this was a fan or habitually drives that way, they need to calm down behind the wheel. A job, a game, nothing is worth wrecking your car or your life.
And here's the kicker: I followed their exact route, and just the way lights worked, I pulled up to the Stu less than 5 seconds after they did. So, there really WAS NO REASON to drive like a maniac.
