Maybe I’m wrong but who did we get against deep pockets? We lost Silas and Reid simply because of a big check last min. At some point the money takes priority over school preference.

Yep this will continue to happen as long as the current portal process is in place. Great recruiters, like VCU coaches traditionally are, will get their top recruits poached, last minute, once the P5 schools with big NIL resources know the price. We do the shopping, they do the buying. Sux!!

We are all working 24/7 to provide Odom a running list of prospects for additional assessment and selection..

Yep, been wondering myself as to why a mid major coach would ever invest the time and effort to recruit HS players again.

However, I am an advocate of Richmond local, International, and Portal for VCU
