They will have tryouts for walk-ons or practice players who don’t dress for games.

That is correct, even if the player withdraws from the portal (though usually the player would have met with the coaching staff to iron things out by then).

if Odom and his staff aren't looking for quality pick-ups for every position they recruit they should not be coaching at VCU -VCU is a top 50 program (over the last 20 years) not a bottom 150 program

You have to have the money for quality pick-ups. This new era of NCAA free agency may be the downfall of VCU being a so-called top 50 program. This has been a frustrating off season so far.

Yeah, it's not like I didn't want those fancy levis back when middle schoolers I wanted to call friends harassed me about the threads I was wearing, that which my parents who both worked fulltime jobs actually could afford. Then I started military school where we all wore uniforms, which equalized all of that.

Not every program wears the same uniform, today, if you can get the gist.

Mo played with Indiana's Gabe Cupps at Centreville and is the brother of former top 100 big Kebba Njie..who started at Penn state and went Notre Dame with Shrewsbury when Rhoades became Penn state HC.
He played pretty well at Eastern Michigan transferred to SMU and got buried on the bench.
