Recruiting Transfer Portal

but smith is so savy. i feel like he’s going to steady the ship next year while demary gets accustomed to the offense in prep to takeover when smith leaves
I think no question Silas Demary is starting and has the keys to the car (so to speak) Silas is On espn list of top 100 transfers as #15, and was killing it at Georgia down the stretch of the season 20ppg and nice rebounds and assists too (down the stretch) in the toughest conference top to bottom in the country this past year

Malachi not in the ESPN top 100 (but I recognize lists are just lists and not always accurate)

maybe Uconn plays them both along with Solo Ball who started this year at SG until the freshman develop

but that means their 3 star recruits that are guards 6'5" or 6'6" get even less time - talk about a dilemma

(maybe we can pick up one next year too that doesn't get playing time)

another perspective. i think malachi smith is the quality of a backup pg on a national championship team

My brother follows Va Tech and he received a story saying that Lawal turned down a $7.5 million NIL deal to stay at Tech.
That can’t be an accurate story, can it?

lol no way it's 7.5 mil. I heard he was connected to Kentucky and I'd guess he's leaving but 7.5 mil is probably their entire budget if they're lucky.

Hey, Ram Nation... I have been gone for a while... I know... Who cares, right??? I have been thru up's and downs both in term of health and my feelings abput the team... I was very disappoimyed with not only the way Odom left the team and the response of VCU's AD staff thay went over the top in thanling Odom for blessing my school for giving us two years of his precious time... We don't owe any coach who only stays two stinking years... And I will admit that I have had trepedation about the new guy but....

... must admit that he seems to be off to a great start... He must be one heck of a playwers coach to keep just about everyone intact while bringing in some highly rated fire-power for the upcoming season... From what I see that rumors of VCU being invited into either the ACC or Big East are only going to intensify as VCU crushes the A10 again... So, I am looking forward to seeing how this team grows and evo;ves this season... On paper it looks like a team poised to not only make the big dance but bringa few new dance steps...
