Treveon Graham

Saw him in action today. Got there late, saw 3 quarters. Glad he is a Ram. Better shot than i expected. Has the frame to add strength, good hops. Very disjointed game to watch, lots of 1 on 1. Their opponents were the better team. Best 1 on the floor was Jabarie Hinds, WVA signeee, approx 6ft tall with good handle and court vision. Hard game to watch, limited teamwork and a lot of step back 3 point shots and run outs.

Graham added on coming into a college program that had a remarkable season.

"It will be real special after the run that VCU had this year," Graham said. "I want to be able to contribute as much as I can. During the season I didn't see as many dunks as I did today, so it was nice to see a lot of excitement in this game."

"Both Treveon and Devonte are talented young men," Johnson said. "Sky's the limit for both of them, I think Treveon is going to excel at VCU and Devonte is still trying to decide where he's going to go. I think he will do very well at the college level, wherever he goes."

Excited to see this guy in the lineup. I know we're losing a great majority of the scoring that we had this past year, but I think there's going to be so much untapped/unseen scoring potential between Reco, Tre, and Rob specifically as well as a boost in production from darius, troy, toby, juvonte and dj, that we'll be just fine. I think Brad's overall numbers won't go up too much...I could see him averaging 17ppg..just b/c he's already so efficient with what he does.
When we throw out a lineup of Rob, Treveon, Reco, Brad and Juvonte, we're going to be pretty darn nasty. We're going to have the ability to have alot of interesting combinations out there. We can go small and fast with Darius and Rob playing together; We can go big with Brad playing the 2 and have 3 bigs;...just alot of scenarios.
Treveon is going to give us alot of scoring and rebounding from the 2 spot for the next 4 years. Can't wait.

I'm especially excited about his rebounding potential. In case everyone hasn't noticed, our team could, uh...use a little work in that area.

Based on what i have seen and heard i expect Tre to play the 3. he is 6-5 and long enough to create some havoc.

Yeah being a freshmen he could come in for Burgess when Burgess is tired. I mean if he plays well enough it would be nice to keep him at SG and have Burgess playing as well..More like a FSU lineup but can actually hit shots.

Sounds like this kid is going to play some significant minutes as a freshman. Good red
shirts in Reco and Heath and new recruits will be competing for playing time w/ our returnees. Only starter I see for sure is Burgess the rest will have to prove who deserves to start although I see us playing 10 plus a game. Should be an exciting season.
