Williamsburg - Jumping out to its best start in 17 years, the William and Mary men’s basketball team dominated instate foe Longwood, 84-65, for its fifth straight victory on Wednesday night at Kaplan Arena. W&M improved to 5-2 on the young season for the first time since the 1992-93 campaign in downing the Lancers. The College scored the opening eight points of the second half and led by as many as 28 without a threat from LU over the final 20 minutes.
