So i know it was hard to notice Troy Daniels coming in and sinking a 3 at the end of the game when we were beating Purdue inside and out but i had no clue he was game time ready. Well to see him hit that 3 on his first shot maybe he will get some playing time. However with how we are playing i wouldn't touch the lineup.

Oh and now i'm glad we wont have to hear that VCU can only win when they shoot 3s. Oh wait we can score in the paint 2? What is the next excuse?

That was a great exclamation point by Troy!

The 2nd half was layup after layup ...........

Troy also came in at the end of the Georgetown game. Took a three that rolled around the rim and came out.

He also came in at the end of the GT and attempted a 3. He missed that one though. I think with the off season....assuming we ever get there!....he will continue to work hard and gain more and more confidence. He could be our goto guy for the trey all next year. Work on your D and work on hitting the 3 and build confidence....we could have a real winner. He was getting into the groove just before he broke his foot.

When he broke his foot I thought there was no way he would make it back on the court this season. Being able to see him come into an NCAA tourney game and drain a 3 exceeded my expectations. Glad he is healthy and ready to work hard during the off season.

I was watching the game with my mom(I've turned her into a major Ram fan. It stuns the rest of the family how much she knows about the team.). She jumping off the couch celebrating when Troy made that three. She really wanted the three he attempted in the GU game to go in. I was really happy for Troy. He's come a long way.

Did anyone else notice Troy appeared to be limping after having shot the ball? It didn't appear to be necessarily from the shot, but occured shortly after.

Didn't see Troy limp after the shot, but I did see Troy limp when he was shaking hands with the Georgetown players after they won.

Might be why he isn't seeing much PT. Even if his foot is healed his entire leg could be lacking in strength from being off of it for so long. If one wears out faster than the other that will cause a limp even if he is not in pain.

Yeah i saw that as well. I think he still isnt gametime ready but shaka put him in so he could experience the feeling. Classy.

As if we're not enough of a scouting headache for all these power conference teams. Loved how Tr(e)y just came in in the dying seconds and let them know we've got yet another threat from beyond the arc. Cheers to the lower-classmen giving us serious contributions out there. Of course the stats they gave us are awesome, but the loyalty that is going to come from giving the freshman burn-time on the big stage is going to be priceless. Reco and Heath probably can't wait to play for us now also. And David Hinton, as long as he keeps showing his enthusiasm that rivals that of the Total Package, he deserves a spot on our team until his eligibility is up
