Really? So jamir Watkins and Fatts Billups are outliers because they both create their own shot.

Can you share some of the d1 tape you guys have for these players, especially Billups, that makes you confident enough to state this stuff as factual? I'd love to see it.
I’m willing to bet fats won’t be a back to the basket in the paint type of player if that’s what you’re getting at. He’s a legit 6’7” with guard skills

Good grief. Some sad people out there. I’m real excited for Ty joining the Rams. He’ll get stronger and will have a chance to develop his shooting touch and overall game.

Nah, i don't think any of those guys are going to be post players either. That doesn't mean they are shooters or can create their own shot though.

A lot of 6'7"/6'8" talented high school prospects project as wings even though they played in the post a lot in high school. On many high school teams, perhaps even most, a guy that height is probably the tallest guy on the floor. They are often used in the post but at the next level project as wings. I remember seeing Monty Knight play in high school before becoming a VCU great. He actually played a lot at Center because at 6'3" he was the tallest player with talent they had. His forte of course became his phenomenal perimeter game although he could still take it to the hole. In my mind projecting where guys will flourish at the next level is the most difficult aspect in terms of recruiting.
It appears that Ty is a guy with wing capabilities that can also use his size and athleticism to play above the rim. I still think with Ty it's all about the extra prep year at PSA to put it all together. It's all up to him. With his tools if he puts in the time at PSA he may end-up being a steal for the Rams.

I'm not sure if they have a graduate team and and undergrad team. Ty would be on the graduate team.
