Jevonte Reddic? No dice? More issues? I love David Hinton and the effort and heart he brings to this team but this team is paper thin in the frontcourt right now and to think otherwise is just silly. Just putting it out there.

Super proud of the boys tonight. heck of a job by Jamie. Biggest game of his Ram career. Couldn't happen to a better kid.

Team had multiple opportunities to fold in the last 5 minutes especially and managed to gut it out. Would not have happend a year ago. Great leadership from the seniors. Love it!!!!!

As for Juvonte, I'm hoping the situation is that the coaches would rather have the guys on the floor who have been out there all year. It'd be tough to put him in for these two huge games when he just hasn't had the time on the floor earlier in the season. Also, you have to earn your minutes and the coaches are limited in that aspect. Keep working hard Juvonte!

I see that Juvonte deleted his Twitter account this morning. I follow him and just noticed that he deleted it this morning. I wonder if he said something and the coaches made him delete it? I don't know. This may be a personal decision. I know he did post something along the lines of "haha no playing time !" after the tennessee game.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Just makes me wonder.

i hope coach knows what hes doing by not letting our top freshman prospect out on the court for a second this week. DJ Haley on the other hand got ten minutes...

I know the season is still very early but I dont like that Juvonte is the only one not getting any PT

Players don't get playing time unless they DESERVE playing time.

And if Juvonte reads this he should know that we will have a major opening next year when Skeen departs. I don't know what or even if there is an issue ....but the coaches have their reasons and Juvonte hopefully realizes this. He may not like the fact he isn't playing - but that is just total speculation on my part. But if he is unhappy about it and being verbal or complaining about it then he needs to man up. We all know he is a freakish athlete, he knows it, and the coaches know it which is why he was recruited. But if he has weaknesses to his game as far as fitting into our system then that is something he needs to really work on. We have an empty spot in the frontcourt just waiting for him next year and certainly a spot he can contribute at this year when the coaches feel he is ready.

But hey, perhaps he understands all this and is already working hard in practice and hopes to get playing time. Perhaps we are over speculating. Perhaps there isn't a major or minor problem. We are only 4 games into the season and this is his freshman year - freakish athlete or not - sometimes it takes a bit to work into the coaches system and lineup.

I'm not usually one to jump into speculation discussion like this, but it sure seems like the last few years when an issue like this comes up, where there's smoke there's fire.....just sayin'.

Good news for our opponents this year: They don't have to worry about our first five. Bad news for our opponents: They have to worry about our whole TEAM. GO RAMS.

Juvonte has the most talent of any freshman. He is wildly inconsistent though and that's the reason he's not on the floor. These were some big games and we needed consistency and DJ provides that at this point. Juvonte will play more and more as the season progresses. He knows why he's sitting right now.

Thanks for the scoop DB. DJ is going to be awesome for us - I love his game. He just needs some seasoning this season against the CAA and then another summer of conditioning...he looked so happy at the game yesterday. Thats a great future for us.

As for Juvonte..he has to earn it. Its that simple.

here's hoping DJ is the leader of this team over the next several years....seems ot have a great demeanor and appreciation of being where he is...nothing but the best for him and all the Rams...
daggone it where did I leave my glass of koolaid??

You gotta love the fact that DJ, a California kid, picked a school on the east coast and got to play against UCLA in his fifth collegiate game and beat them in the Garden on national TV. I'm sure he is on top of the world right now.

Did anybody notice Juvonte's body language during the time outs? Didn't look into it.

I thought the same thing. It had to be a delicious moment for DJ.
